what to do when you don’t want a c-section
14 tips from childbirth educator,
cori gentry

Early on in Cori’s life, stories from her mother and family shaped the belief that cesareans and pain medicine the minority of births.

In her young adulthood, Cori began learning how uncommon undisturbed physiological birth actually was. Frustrated with a lack of comprehensive childbirth-education classes for own birth preparation, Cori solidified her commitment to fill this void in her community. By 2012 she was certified as a childbirth educator and was educating families.

Each of Cori’s three unique birthing experiences brought a myriad of lessons she uses to help birth families.

Cori Gentry is active in her local ICAN chapter and Birth Network. She blogs about evidence-based maternity care, ,birth professional topics,, and access to maternity healthcare.

Cori and her husband relied on self-study and quickly realized how hard it was to experience a “natural” birth in our medical system without real-life support and a modern approach to childbirth education.
