What’s your chapter’s name?
ICAN of South Denver

How did you find out about ICAN? What drew you to our organization?
We have a large Denver chapter that meets on the North West side of town that is extremely hard to get to for many moms in the more South side of the metropolitan. Krystal & I saw a need for support in this area of town. We love the ICAN mission and it really resonates with the culture of support.

What part of being an ICAN Chapter Leader are you most excited about and why?
Being a support person to cheer women on in their birthing experiences, to help with resources and empathy when needed.

What do you wish other people knew about ICAN?
That ICAN supports ALL birthing choices.

What would you say are some of your strongest beliefs about cesarean/VBAC awareness?
Again, Denver is a GREAT place to have a baby and an amazing place to have a VBAC. We have options here.

How would someone describe you?
Spunky, knowledgeable & empathetic.

Please share a little about yourself.
I am a wife, mother to two man cubs & one fur baby, a CPA by day and a birth doula by night. I love to take walks, do yoga, read & cruise Facebook.
