#GivingTuesday focuses on bringing generous people together to enact real change in their communities by providing a platform encouraging the donation of time, resources, talents, and of course, finances. Through small acts of kindness, this global movement sparks a passion for sharing our capacity to care for and empower each other. Rather than focusing on consumerism, it is a movement to draw attention to non-profit organizations by celebrating and supporting giving and philanthropy for a charitable holiday season.
You can participate by donating online or through your local chapter! If you take a selfie, email it to pinterest@ican-online.org to be included on our #GivingTuesday board. You can also use hashtags #givingtuesday and #ICANgive to alert the ICAN Social Media team to your post.
The first 5 donors of a minimum $20 donation will receive an ICAN product bundle including a lanyard, bumper sticker, button and other ICAN branded products. All donors in the #GivingTuesday campaign today will be entered into a drawing for special gifts from ICAN supporters. Some of those are pictured below:
