I had originally planned for an unassisted home birth and ended up with an exceptionally gentle Cesarean due to transverse lie. All of our wishes were made a priority, and the majority of them were fulfilled.
My earth angel was immediately placed on my chest after being cleared by NICU (she had ingested meconium) and she latched as soon as we arrived in recovery. She was my fourth pregnancy after three losses, and I was sick the entire time. I’m forever grateful to the medical team that helped her arrive here as peacefully as possible.
